Feeling privileged to be a finalist in The Portia Geach Memorial Award for portraiture with an oil painting of my wonderful sitters actors of screen television and stage Anne Tenney and Shane Withington. Anne is know for loveable roles such as Molly Jones on “A Country Practice’ and Sal Kerrigan in the iconic Aussie film ‘The Castle’. Shane was on a “A Country Practice’ as Brendan Jones Mollys husband. Shane has played the role of John Palmer for over 14 years on ‘Home and Away’ Both actors have contributed over many years to Australian film, television and theatre. “Anne and Shane in their round house” can be seen at the S.H. Ervin Gallery from the 25th October - 15th December 2024

Very excited to be included in an article from February Issue 2024 of Home Beautiful magazine. The article is called 20 Artists to watch in 2024 by Jessica Bellef. It is a contemporary Australian showcase of 20 artists working in various mediums from painting to photography, textiles and ceramics.

‘Gus Worland founder of Gotcha4life’
Honoured to be included as a finalist at the beautiful S.H.Ervin Gallery at the Rocks with a portrait painting of Gus Worland media personality and founder of Gotcha4life . A not-for-profit foundation dedicated to building a mentally fit future with mental fitness programs in schools, sports clubs and workplaces. Gus was selected to speak at a TED talk in Vancouver, Canada with the message looking after your own village can be as simple as sending a text message, right now to the person you cannot imagine living without. Gus has also been very recently announced as one of the nominees for Australian of the Year.
2023 Hornsby Art Prize Finalist
‘On the way to Dangar Island’
Excited to announce ‘On the way to Dangar Island’ as a finalist in the Hornsby Art Prize 2023. The exhibition of finalists is held at the Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre in Hornsby. This is a painting of the well loved vintage Sun Ferry in Brooklyn as it travels to Danger Island to drop off passengers.
2023 Artist in residence at Simpson Cottage Bundeena NSW
I’m honoured to be the first artist in residence at the beautiful historic sandstone Simpson Cottage in Bundeena. Filled with vintage treasures and handmade linen this carefully curated cottage by the talented owner Tara is stunning with water views from the cottage gardens. If you ever have the chance to stay in Bundeena its worth experiencing the magic of Simpson Cottage. Little Things Art Prize Finalist
Saint Cloche Gallery holds A little Things Art prize each year. Jennifers Ferry painting was selected and exhibited in the Gallery in Paddington. Artists are invited to respond to the concept of the 'little things' in life that make them feel happy or grateful.
2022 Incognito Art Show
Jennifer donated three paintings towards the Incognito Art Show. The identity of each artist is anonymous when the artwork is exhibited and only once purchased is it revealed. Profits raised went to Studio A.. The queen portrait made an appearance on Channel 7 and Channel 9 News.
